Shipping Policy

1. Fulfilment Locations & Cut-Off Times

Origin Facilities: Orders for customers located in the United States are fulfilled and dispatched from our California facility. Orders for the United Kingdom, European Union, and all other international destinations are fulfilled and dispatched from our UK facility.

Same-Day Dispatch Cut-Off: Orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Time (PDT) ship the same business day from California. Orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon) Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) ship the same business day from the UK facility (for UK/EU/International).

Business Days: Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays at the shipping origin.

Important: Same-day dispatch may not be possible during promotional periods, high-volume sales, adverse weather events, carrier disruptions, or where additional security/verification checks are required.

2. Shipping Methods & Service Levels

We offer multiple carrier options depending on destination—ranging from budget services to expedited, next-day delivery:

  • United States (examples): USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, FedEx 2Day, FedEx Overnight.
  • United Kingdom (examples): Royal Mail 2nd Class, Royal Mail Tracked, DPD 24/48, DPD Priority/Next Day.
  • European Union & International (examples): Royal Mail International services, DPD Classic/Express, DHL Express, UPS, FedEx International.

Available options and pricing are shown at checkout based on your address and basket weight/value.

3. Free Shipping Thresholds

  • United States: Free shipping on orders over US $200.
  • United Kingdom: Free shipping on orders over £150 GBP.
  • European Union: Free shipping on orders over €170 EUR.

Where applicable, equivalent thresholds in other local currencies may be applied automatically at checkout. Free shipping uses a standard tracked service appropriate for your region.

4. Dispatch & Handling

Orders are processed in the sequence received. Once packed and handed to the carrier, you will receive tracking details (where available) via email.

Note: We cannot combine or split orders after checkout. For security reasons, we may perform additional verification on certain orders, which can affect dispatch time.

5. Delivery Timeframes & Service Guarantees

We utilise reliable carriers (e.g., Royal Mail, DPD, USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL). Transit times shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless you select a specifically guaranteed service (e.g., DPD Priority/Next Day, FedEx Overnight).

In rare cases, delays can occur due to factors outside our control (carrier network issues, weather, strikes, customs inspections, peak season volumes). We will support you and escalate delivery issues with the relevant courier (Royal Mail, DPD, USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL) on your behalf.

6. In-Transit, Undelivered & Returned Shipments

No Resends/Refunds While In Transit: We are unable to resend or refund parcels that are still moving within the carrier network.

Undeliverable/Returned to Sender: If a parcel is marked undeliverable or returned to sender, it must be received back at our facility and inspected before a refund or replacement can be considered. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and re-delivery may incur additional postage.

7. Lost Parcels & Carrier Investigations

If your parcel appears lost, we will open an inquiry with the carrier. Refunds or replacements are issued only after the carrier confirms the investigation closed and the parcel is deemed lost.

  • United Kingdom & EU domestic: typically up to 15 business days from the ship date before a parcel can be classed as lost.
  • United States domestic: typically up to 20 business days.
  • International (cross-border): up to 30 business days, depending on route and carrier.

Timeframes are carrier guidelines and may vary during peak seasons or extraordinary events.

8. Address Accuracy & Redirections

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. We cannot redirect parcels once handed to the carrier. For security reasons, we do not amend shipping addresses after order confirmation unless the correction was explicitly requested at the time of ordering and confirmed by our team prior to dispatch.

Orders delivered to an incorrectly provided address are the responsibility of the Customer.

9. Customs, Import Duties & Compliance

Customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and import compliance are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Documentation requirements vary by country; additional information may be requested by customs.

Customs Seizure & Unlawful Purchases: Our products are supplied strictly as research-use-only chemical materials. If a shipment is seized, refused, or destroyed by customs or regulatory authorities due to unlawful purchase, import, possession, or intended use, no refund, credit, or replacement will be issued. The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring the legality of the purchase and importation in their jurisdiction.
